Has it really been two months since my last post? Better do something about that, since I had been doing so well. But of course, this coincided with the start of our school year also and I haven't been doing as much knitting as during the summer. It took me over 2 months to finish up these socks. I started them at the first of August and should have had them finished by the end of September for the Six-Sox-Knitalong. I finished them up at the end of last week.I'm still working on the Mystery Stole 2 Knitalong but set it aside for other things. I need to get back to it. In the meantime, I bought, searched stash, and cast on for this Forest Canopy Shoulder Shawl at the beginning of this week. I used some Schaefer Anne that I originally had bought for knitting socks and decided to use it for this. Doesn't it look like peacock feathers? It turned out just lovely. I am giving it to my MIL for Christmas. BTW, I purchased this pattern from Susan Lawrence over at I'm Knitting As Fast As I Can ( http://ma2ut.blogspot.com/ )
Here is a close up.
I also started knitting on a pair of felted clogs. I'm using Paton's Classic Merino for this pair. I plan to make several pairs for Christmas presents. "The Queen" is trying to sleep in the background.
Here is what I had left from the skein of Anne that I used on the Forest Canopy Shoulder Shawl. It is over half of the skein. I think I'm gonna make another for me, making it at least one repeat larger.
That's all I have for now. Oh, I almost forgot...I did make several BallBand Warshcloths from the Mason-Dixon Knitting book. I will post those pictures later.

I love the shawl. Someone else just wrote me today and sent photos of the one she made from Anne, too. How coincidental!
