Both are knit sideways using at least 3 or 4 different yarns. I really love them. And whoever gets them will be very pleased, I'm sure.
Thanks, Lynn!
Just someplace to record my thoughts about knitting, reading, and life in general
Here it is from the front and modeled again by me. Sarah can take pretty decent pictures when she concentrates.
Here is a close-up shot after it dried from blocking. I may block some more as one end is a little more parallelogram that rectangular.
Anyway, I'm happy with how it turn out and really want to make a couple more...one with ribbon yarn and one with some STR fingering weight. I have the fingering weight already in Black Onyx colorway. Just not sure how much it will take. I have 6 skeins with 325 yds. each. I will give it a shot and see how wide it is at the end of the decreases. But first I need to finish a couple pair of socks first.
This is a closer view of the decreasing end. I have knitted 3 decreases so far.

Here are some pictures of my progress. I finished up the increase section and have gotten far enough into the straight sections to drop twice. I have been using stitch markers but I am going to purl the stitch to be dropped from now on and get rid of the markers. It won't make any difference in the final look. Mine is rolling on the side now that I am dropping stitches. It has been rolling on the bottom also. See in the bottom picture? I hope this stops when I get all the stitches dropped and block it.
