What I did today....
Do you see who this is? It's the Yarn Harlot herself, Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. She ws in Lexington, KY today at the Festival of Books and the only reason I went. Well, Sue Grafton, Karen Robards and Jane Fonda were there also, but if Stephanie hadn't been there I probably wouldn't have gone. She signed books and also spoke at 4 pm. My jaws ached from laughing so much! All in all, a very good day. I made some progress on my STR Sock Club socks too. The second picture of Stephanie and I holding up our socks is what I had knitted on one sock (the other one was a little further along, but not much). If you scroll all the way to the bottom you will see a picture of where I am at this very moment. That's all I gotta say!

I jumped over here from the Opal Chatters newsletter (go check it out if you haven't yet) -- I'm also making the STR sock club socks, about as far along as you are! I haven't even started my Sixth Sense socks yet. I missed an opportunity to see the Yarn Harlot in St. Louis, I think just a few days before she was in Lexington.
